Evaluation

Screening

Example: A project-management certification should cover the important responsibilities and knowledge areas of project management, not merely terminology.

Evidence Based on Response Processes

Are respondents and raters engaging in the processes the assessment is intended to elicit?

Example: If a question is intended to measure reasoning but can be answered through an irrelevant test-taking trick, the response process may not support the intended interpretation.

Evidence Based on Internal Structure

Do relationships among questions and scales correspond to the proposed construct model?
